Truly a foundation female at Springcreek Simmentals.  We were fortunate enough to purchase her in the fall of 2008 to ad to our flush program.  The mother of Black Tank 63P, a bull of legendary performance, and many other high selling bulls (Sunrise Simmentals - Levi 39S, Wheatland Cattle Co - MBJ 37T, Spruce Grove Simmental - Black Tank MBJ 63P and now MBJ 56U - Labatte, Oberle and Westwood Land and Cattle).  She is as consistent a cow as Brian as bred.  She is the type to build a herd around!

Not to be out done by Nevas, Honey Dew, in her own right has carved a path of excellence in superior cattle during her career at Springcreek Simmentals.  Hard to have one witihout the other and we were lucky enough to convince Brian to share in some of his herd building genetics in selling Honey Dew as well.  Mother of Red Tank 57P as well as other top sellers in the last few years (MBJ 60S - 3D Simmentals), Honey Dew can sire both top performing bulls and keeper females of both the red and black variety.  We will look to Honey Dew to provide us some sought after non-spotter, non-dilutor red cattle.

Good things come in three's as 64N has come our way from Springcreek.  We purchased the high selling bull out of the 2007 Springcreek sale, Liner 104S, off of 64N.  We are so pleased with his calves that we thought why not expand those genetics by starting back with his momma.  Cows that can produce top shelf bulls as well as sought after females are a rare find, and 64N fits the bill.  

The natural thickness and ease of doing of 64N is phenomenal!  That has been passed down through MBJ 104S and his offspring.

As we evolve our cattle herd into the future it is our goal to multiple genetics that we feel can solifify and advance our program and the Simmental breed in general.  With that in mind, our approach on females has intensified with the addtion of some elite cows and gentics in the past 2-3 years.  We will look to multiply the traits we feel are marketable in more ways than one and continue to bring the Simmental breed to the forefront!
